Teacher and activities
Education of good quality is provided by fully qualified teachers both internal and external, and native speakers. All of them cooperate, they prepare methodical and educational materials, organize competitions and free-time activities, various courses in physical activities like skiing, swimming, etc. They also work as lecturers or chairmen in various committees.
Gymnázium Ľ. Štúra boasts about a long-year tradition with good results in language olympiadas, competitions in literature or sports not only in Trenčín region but also in Slovakia.
Within the activities of this school we have to mention TRENČAN, one of the best amateur folk groups in Slovakia. Trenčan has done a great research and promotion of folk tradition of Trenčín natives since its establishment in 1949.
